Liquid level switching in plastic-based installations needs a device that is adaptable without adding unnecessary complexity. One or more floats move along the measuring rod and actuate magnetic reed contacts inside the instrument, leaving the float as the only moving element. This supports robust operation with a limited need for maintenance.
The product family is available in PVC, PP and PVDF versions, making it suitable for liquid level control tasks where these materials are specified. It provides up to 6 switch points and rod lengths up to 5 m, depending on the selected float. Working pressure reaches up to 6 bars, with standard working temperature up to 130°C.
Connection and wiring options help match the level switch to the installation. The range includes threaded and flanged process connections, IP65 housings, DIN IP65 plugs, cable leads and cable glands up to IP68. A built-in temperature sensor can also be added on request, including PT100, PT1000, PTC, NTC or thermostat versions.
One or more floats actuate magnetic reed contacts positioned inside the measuring rod. The float moves by buoyancy along the rod.
Float options are available for PVDF, PP and PVC versions, with defined specific gravity, contact type, pressure rating and temperature class.
The product supports internal and external mounting with threaded and flanged connections. Thread options include UNI 228/1, UNI 7/1 and NPT.
Contact versions include SPST and SPDT types with defined AC and DC voltage, current and power ratings.
Contacts can be wired independently, with a common connection or according to customer request. NO, NC and SPDT contact status options are listed.
A sensor can be installed at the bottom of the rod on request. Options include PT100, PT1000, PTC, NTC and TRM thermostat versions.
