Liquid tanks often need several level signals from one measuring point. This multipoint level switch uses one or more magnetic reed contacts inside the measuring rod, actuated by floats that move by buoyancy, giving users defined switching points with limited mechanical complexity.
The family supports up to 6 switch points and total lengths up to 6 m, making it suitable for applications that need several alarm or control levels in one instrument. Spansil float options cover different specific gravities and contact configurations, with maximum working pressure up to 10 bar.
Process connections include threaded and flanged versions for installation from inside or outside the tank, with material options including brass, anodized aluminium and AISI-316 depending on the selected connection. Electrical outputs include IP65 housings, DIN plugs, cable leads and cable glands, and built-in PT100, PT1000, PTC, NTC or thermostat sensors are available on request.
One or more floats actuate reed contacts placed inside the measuring rod. Contact options include SPST and SPDT versions with defined AC and DC ratings.
Several Spansil float types are available, with different dimensions, specific gravities, contact types and maximum contact counts according to the selected configuration.
