MP800 is the single range microphone preamplifier used with the MC800 ½" free-field microphone in the XPT800 sound level meter configuration, supporting Class 1 measurements for environmental noise, building acoustics, workplace risk assessment and industrial product analysis.
Sensor Digital Interface helps reduce setup uncertainty by enabling automatic detection of the model and calibration data. The preamplifier also supports automatic electrical CTC calibration, giving acoustic specialists a practical way to verify the measurement chain before or during demanding measurement work.
Used together with the MC800 microphone, MP800 forms the standard XPT800 microphone set with a dynamic range from 15 dBA to 140 dBpeak. Its integrated heater supports field use as part of the XPT800 platform, where measurements may run across varied site conditions.
MP800 includes SDI for communication with the XPT800 platform, supporting automatic model and calibration data detection.
The preamplifier supports automatic electrical CTC calibration as part of the XPT800 microphone set.
MP800 is used with the MC800 ½" free-field measurement microphone with 50 mV/Pa sensitivity.
The preamplifier includes a heater function within the MS800 microphone set.
