Liquid level applications with higher process demands need a sensor that combines a robust wetted construction with flexible signal integration. This family uses a magnetic float moving along the measuring rod to actuate a chain of resistors and reed contacts, producing a continuous level signal with selectable 5, 10 or 20 mm resolution.
The AISI 316 stainless steel construction supports use in demanding liquid level installations, while the float remains the only moving element in the measuring principle. That helps the sensor deliver reliable operation with limited mechanical complexity. Versions are available up to 6 m length, with maximum working pressure up to 50 Bar, standard working temperature up to 105°C and executions up to 150°C on request.
Integration is straightforward across different control setups. Output options include potentiometric signal, 4-20mA analog output, 0-5 / 0-10V analog output and (0)4-20mA output with digital display. Minimum ingress protection (IP) rating is IP65.
Highlights:
A magnetic float actuates a chain of resistors and reed contacts placed inside the guiding rod.
The family includes LC potentiometric output, LCT 4-20mA output and LCTV 0-5 / 0-10V output variants.
Electrical output options include DIN 43650 IP65 plug, M12x1 plug, brass cable-gland IP68 and polyamide cable-gland IP67 variants, depending on sensor type.
Threaded and flanged connections are listed, including G parallel UNI 228/1, conical UNI 7/1 and conical NPT thread options.
For LC type only, a temperature sensor can be installed at the bottom of the rod on request, with PT100, PT1000, PTC or NTC options.
