Conductivity-Panelmeter

LF9648

Conductivity panel meter for liquid purity and concentration measurement, covering 0..2.000(0) μS/cm up to 0..2000 / 200(0) mS/cm with Pt100 or Pt1000 temperature input, LED display and optional alarm or analog outputs.

Introduction

Clear conductivity monitoring starts at the control panel, where liquid purity or concentration must stay visible during operation. This DIN 96x48 mm panel meter measures conductivity in liquids and supports 2-electrode and 4-electrode conductivity cells for ultra-pure water, natural water and concentration-related applications.

The programmable measuring range, from 0..2.000(0) μS/cm up to 0..2000 / 200(0) mS/cm, helps cover many tasks with one device concept. With 4-electrode cells, the instrument supports high accuracy and reduced sensitivity to contamination. Temperature compensation is selectable as non-linear for ultra-pure and natural water or programmable linear from 0.000..9.999 %/K.

Integration is practical, with a red 14.2 mm LED display, front keypad programming, optional relay or transistor alarm outputs, and isolated active or passive analog outputs. Option 14 supports ultra-pure water monitoring acc. to USP<645>.

Features

Conductivity cell input

The input supports 2- or 4-electrode conductivity cells, with Pt100 or Pt1000 temperature compensation depending on the selected version.

Temperature compensation

The device provides non-linear compensation for ultra-pure and natural water, or a programmable linear characteristic from 0.000..9.999 %/K.

Front keypad programming

Parameters are set via the front-side membrane keypad, including measuring range, output behavior and alarm switching functions.

Alarm output options

Up to four alarm outputs can be configured as relay or transistor outputs, with programmable minimum or maximum switching performance.

Analog output options

The active analog output provides isolated 0/4..20 mA or 0/2..10 V DC. The passive version provides two isolated 4..20 mA outputs for conductivity and temperature.

Panel housing

The panel mounting case uses PA6-GF material with UL94V-0 rating, front dimensions of 96x48 mm and a mounting depth of 100 mm.

Peak hold option

Option 01 adds min- and max-peak hold for displaying stored peak readings during operation.
