Stable level measurement starts with a sensing element that is not disturbed by foam, dielectric value or installations inside the vessel. Hydrocont® S50 measures and monitors levels hydrostatically in basins, channels and tanks with a dry capacitive ceramic measuring cell.
The integrated digital evaluation electronics support high accuracy and long-term stability, with linearity deviations down to ≤ 0.1% or ≤ 0.2% of span depending on configuration and long-term drift ≤ 0.1% per year. A bright 4-digit LED display and simple menu structure make on-site reading and commissioning straightforward.
The series adapts to very different installations. Threaded, hygienic and flange process connections are available, as well as stainless steel or plastic housing versions, M12, terminal or fixed cable connection, pipe extension and cable probe versions for installation from above. Output options include 4...20 mA 2-wire, 0...10 V 3-wire and versions with 2 freely adjustable PNP switching points.
The sensor measures and monitors level using hydrostatic pressure with integrated digital evaluation electronics.
Versions use a dry capacitive ceramic cell with 96% or 99.9% Al2O3 membrane material, depending on configuration.
Versions with display provide measured value indication on a bright LED display and use a simple menu structure for device operation.
Available connections include ISO228-1 threaded versions, DIN 11851 milk pipe, Varivent®, DRD, DIN flanges, Tri-Clamp® and suspension probe options.
Housing materials include stainless steel, PBT and POM. Electrical connection options include M12x1 plug, 2 m cable and terminal housing.
Cable probe and pipe extension versions support installation from above, including PE or FEP suspension cable and stainless steel pipe options.
