Reliable level data starts with a transmitter that keeps working where liquid measurement gets demanding. Designed for continuous level, gauge level and temperature measurement in liquids, this ø40 mm hydrostatic transmitter is well suited to industrial applications, especially fresh water, waste water and saltwater.
A capacitive ceramic measuring cell, heavy stainless steel housing and double-walled, double-sealed supporting cable help maintain precise readings under challenging conditions, including low temperatures, shock and vibration. Measuring ranges cover 0…0.05 bar to 0…20 bar and 0…1 to 0…100 mH2O, with selectable accuracy classes down to \leq \pm0.05 %FSI.
Integration stays flexible on site. The family offers 4…20 mA FSK for analog current loops or RS485 Modbus-RTU for digital networks, with optional temperature measurement via Pt100 or Pt1000. Ingress protection (IP68) supports immersed installation to \leq 100 m/\leq 20 bar.
The liquid pressure acts directly on the ceramic process diaphragm in a dry measuring system, where capacitance change is processed into the level signal.
Depending on the electronics version, the transmitter can include Pt100, 3-wire temperature measurement or Pt1000 measurement for -20…+70 °C.
The supporting cable includes a capillary tube with filter attachment for reference air supply in gauge pressure measurement.
The family includes a 2-wire 4…20 mA FSK version and a 4-wire RS485 Modbus-RTU version with bidirectional communication.
Parameterization and operation are carried out via the integrated wired interface, with FSK interface and operating software used for the 4…20 mA FSK version.
Material options include ceramic Al2O3 99.9 %, 1.4404/316L stainless steel, 1.4462/318LN duplex steel, PEEK, FKM/FPM, EPDM, FFKM, PE and FEP.
ATEX variants are available for category 1 or category 2 equipment, depending on the selected electronics output and approval version.
