Compact weather station with solar radiation monitoring, measuring wind, temperature, humidity, pressure and irradiance, with 4G logger, solar power, backup battery and Plug-&-Play connectors.

Introduction

Remote weather and solar radiation monitoring becomes easier when the station can work independently from local site infrastructure. HDMCS-200 combines key meteorological measurements with a thermopile pyranometer, solar power, backup battery and 4G communication in one compact station.
 
The station measures wind speed, wind direction, wind gust, compass direction, air temperature, relative humidity, barometric pressure and solar radiation. The ultrasonic wind sensor has no moving parts that need replacement, while the Spectrally Flat Class C pyranometer measures 0...2000 W/m2 with 1 W/m2 resolution.
 
Field setup is designed to be quick and practical: unpack the boxes, set up the tripod, plug in the cables and insert a SIM card. The logger includes a 20 W solar panel with integrated charger, 12 V / 3.4 Ah rechargeable backup battery, custom LCD, Plug-&-Play connectors and internal memory for more than 240,000 samples.

Independent operation

Features

Meteorological measurement

The station measures wind speed, wind direction, wind gust, compass direction, air temperature, relative humidity, barometric pressure and solar radiation.

Ultrasonic wind sensor

Wind speed is measured from 0...60 m/s with 0.01 m/s resolution, while wind direction covers 0...359.9° with 0.1° resolution.

Thermopile pyranometer

The solar radiation sensor is a Spectrally Flat Class C pyranometer with a measuring range of 0...2000 W/m2.

Autonomous power system

The logger uses a 20 W solar panel with integrated charger and a 12 V / 3.4 Ah lead-acid rechargeable backup battery.

Data logging

Measuring and logging intervals can be selected from seconds to minutes, with internal memory for more than 240,000 samples.

Mechanical structure

The station uses a stable tripod structure with adjustable width and height, plastic case material and AISI 316 metal parts.
