Compact weather station for independent outdoor monitoring of wind, temperature, humidity, pressure and rainfall, with 4G logger, solar panel, backup battery and Plug-&-Play connectors.

Introduction

Weather monitoring is easier to deploy when the station does not depend on local power or existing site infrastructure. HDMCS-100 combines the core meteorological parameters in one compact station and is designed as a self-supporting system with solar panel, backup battery and 4G communication.
 
The station measures wind speed, wind direction, wind gust, compass direction, air temperature, relative humidity, barometric pressure and rainfall. An ultrasonic wind sensor avoids moving parts that need replacement, while the tipping bucket rain gauge records rainfall with 0.2 mm resolution and up to 2000 mm/h maximum rainfall rate.
 
Commissioning is kept practical for field work: unpack the boxes, set up the tripod, plug in the cables and insert a SIM card. The logger includes a 4G modem, integrated solar charger, custom LCD, Plug-&-Play connectors and internal memory for more than 240,000 samples, supporting direct communication to cloud or FTP systems.

Features

Meteorological measurement

The station measures wind speed, wind direction, wind gust, compass direction, air temperature, relative humidity, barometric pressure and rainfall.

Ultrasonic wind sensor

Wind speed is measured from 0...50 m/s with 0.01 m/s resolution, while wind direction covers 0...359.9° with 0.1° resolution.

Tipping bucket rain gauge

Rainfall is measured with 0.2 mm resolution, 99% accuracy up to 120 mm/h and a maximum rainfall rate of 2000 mm/h.

Autonomous power system

The logger uses a 20 W solar panel with integrated charger and a 12 V / 3.4 Ah lead-acid rechargeable backup battery.

Data logging

Measuring and logging intervals can be selected from seconds to minutes, with internal memory for more than 240,000 samples.

Mechanical structure

The station uses a stable tripod structure with adjustable width and height, plastic case material and AISI 316 metal parts.
