Accurate atmospheric pressure data supports better decisions in weather stations, environmental monitoring, laboratories, clean rooms and vehicle emission testing. HD9408.3B uses a high accuracy piezoresistive, temperature-compensated sensor to deliver stable barometric pressure measurement with 0.01 hPa resolution.
The transmitter is factory calibrated at several pressure and temperature points, then compensates the output across the full -40...+85 °C operating range. Digital versions measure 0…1350 hPa, while analog versions cover 500…1200 hPa, with digital accuracy down to ± 0.1 hPa in the 500…1200 hPa range at 23 °C.
Integration is flexible for both local systems and sensor networks. HD9408.3B.1 offers RS485, RS422, RS232 and 0…5 or 1…5 V analog output. HD9408.3B.2 adds 0…20 or 4…20 mA output, and HD9408.3B.3 provides SDI-12. Low absorption and an IP67 anticorodal housing make it suitable for remote acquisition systems and harsh environments.
HD9408.3B.1 combines serial outputs with 0…5 or 1…5 V analog output. HD9408.3B.2 provides serial outputs with 0…20 or 4…20 mA. HD9408.3B.3 uses SDI-12.
HD9408.3B.1 and HD9408.3B.2 support Modbus-RTU, NMEA 0183 and ASCII proprietary protocols via RS485, RS422 or RS232 depending on configuration.
Pressure transmitted with Modbus-RTU and SDI-12 can be expressed in Pa, hPa, kPa, mbar, bar, atm, psi, mmHg, inHg, mmH2O, ftH2O, kg/cm2 or Torr.
Analog versions can be configured for a different pressure interval within the 500…1200 hPa range, with optional offset or reversed output direction.
A pressure measurement offset from -10.00 hPa to +10.00 hPa can be added through the ASCII proprietary protocol.
The transmitter mounts via housing holes and uses an M12 connector. The pressure connection accepts a Ø 5 mm flexible tube.
