Introduction

Hot climate installations need stronger shielding against solar radiation while keeping airflow around the probe. HD9007S-2 uses a 16-ring multiplate shield design to block direct sun and precipitation while supporting natural air circulation around the sensor.

The shield is suitable for probes with Ø 26 mm diameter, giving a defined fit for environmental monitoring setups. UV-resistant ASA discs, an anodized aluminum support bracket and stainless steel U-bolt mounting support long-term outdoor installation on poles or masts from 30 to 50 mm in diameter.

Accurate readings
Multiplate shielding reduces radiation impact on temperature and humidity probes.
Outdoor durability
UV-resistant ASA discs support long-term use in sun, rain and wind.
Defined probe fit
Suitable for probes with a 14 mm diameter.
Flexible mounting
Stainless steel U-bolt fits poles or masts from 30 to 50 mm.

Features

Passive shield design

The multiplate structure surrounds the probe and protects it from direct solar radiation, rain and wind.

Natural ventilation

Specially shaped plates allow air circulation around the sensor for temperature and relative humidity measurement.

Probe compatibility

The shield is specified for probes with a suitable diameter of 14 mm.

Material construction

Discs are made from ASA, with an anodized aluminium support bracket and stainless steel U-bolt mounting.

Mast installation

The mounting system is designed for poles or masts with diameters from 30 to 50 mm.
