Remote weather stations need dependable data without regular site visits. This data logger records and transmits environmental measurements such as temperature, humidity, wind speed, rainfall and solar irradiance, making it well suited for meteorology, agriculture, smart cities and industrial monitoring.
A flexible input structure keeps one station open to different sensor setups: 4 independently configurable analog inputs, 2 voltage-free counting contact inputs, RS485 with Modbus-RTU or Modbus TCP/IP on Ethernet versions, and an SDI-12 Master port. Data can be sent by e-mail, FTP or HTTP server via 4G/3G/GSM(2G)/GPRS, while SMS or TCP/IP control reduces travel to remote sites.
Outdoor deployment is supported by the IP65 polycarbonate housing, mast mounting up to 60 mm and operation down to -40...+70 °C on versions without LCD. Solar-panel power, external DC supply and an optional 12 V / 3.4 Ah rechargeable backup battery help maintain logging in off-grid locations.
Measuring and logging intervals can be set from 1 s to 1 hour. Internal memory uses circular management or stops logging when full, depending on configuration.
HD35AP-S software configures measurements, alarm thresholds, intervals, date and time. It displays real-time values in numeric or graphic format and downloads stored data to a PC.
The logger can be controlled by SMS commands or through a direct TCP/IP connection via mobile network with a remote PC connected to the Internet.
With a tipping bucket rain gauge connected, the logger records maximum rainfall rate, daily rainfall, total rainfall and rainfall within the logging interval.
Switched power supply outputs can power external sensors only during measurement acquisition, remain always active or stay disabled for passive sensors.
Depending on configuration, the family is available with Ethernet connectivity, an internal barometric sensor and a custom LCD display.
