8-input RTD data logger for Pt100 and Pt1000 probes

HD32.7

8-input RTD data logger for temperature measurement with Pt100 SICRAM, 4-wire Pt100 or 2-wire Pt1000 probes, -200°C...+650°C range, 96,000 records per input, RS232C and USB transfer.

Introduction

Temperature mapping across several points becomes easier when all channels are captured in one place. The HD32.7 records data from up to 8 temperature probes and displays all inputs simultaneously, giving maintenance teams, laboratories and process users a clear view of multi-point temperature behavior.

The instrument works with Pt100 probes with SICRAM module, direct 4-wire Pt100 probes or direct 2-wire Pt1000 probes. All connected probes must be of the same type, which keeps the setup consistent for each logging session. With a measuring range of -200°C...+650°C and configurable °C, °F or K units, it adapts to a wide range of temperature monitoring tasks.

Reliable data handling supports both short checks and planned recording campaigns. The HD32.7 stores up to 96,000 acquisitions for each of the 8 inputs across up to 64 logging sessions. Data can be downloaded via galvanically isolated RS232C or USB, while memory can operate in circular mode or stop when full.

Features

Temperature inputs

The instrument connects up to 8 temperature probes. Inputs accept Pt100 with SICRAM module, direct 4-wire Pt100 or direct 2-wire Pt1000 probes.

Consistent probe type

All connected probes must be of the same type. The input type is selected in the menu and remains stored until changed by the user.

SICRAM probe handling

Pt100 SICRAM probes store sensor calibration information, probe type and serial number inside the module for interchangeability.

Logging intervals

The logging interval can be set from 2 seconds to 1 hour. Available values include 2, 5, 10, 15 and 30 seconds, plus minute intervals up to 1 hour.

Memory management

Stored data can be managed as circular memory, overwriting the oldest records, or as fixed memory that stops recording when full.

Statistics display

The instrument calculates and displays maximum, minimum and average values of the measured temperatures.

Communication ports

Data can be transferred via RS232C from 1,200 to 38,400 baud or via USB with automatic detection.

Instrument design

The housing measures 220x180x50mm, weighs 1,100 g with batteries and has IP64 protection for field use.
