Introduction

Heat stress assessment depends on readings that are easy to capture, compare and document. This portable meter measures dry bulb temperature, natural ventilation wet bulb temperature and globe thermometer temperature, then calculates the WBGT index for indoor conditions without solar radiation and outdoor conditions with solar radiation.

For field work and workplace checks, the instrument combines three SICRAM probe inputs with automatic probe recognition at power-on and stored calibration data in the probe module. Maximum, minimum and average values can be viewed directly on the backlit LCD, while selectable units in °C, °F or K help adapt the reading to the task.

Recorded data can be stored in 64 logging sessions with configurable intervals from 15 seconds to 1 hour, then transferred via RS232C or USB 2.0. The HD32.2A variant adds a hook-type battery cover for mounting on the SP35TC holder, supporting structured measurements with the required probe set.
