Introduction

Long WBGT monitoring needs a wet bulb probe that can stay in service without frequent refilling. TP3204S measures natural ventilation wet bulb temperature for WBGT index analysis, with a 500 cc distilled water bottle that provides 15 days of autonomy at t=40 °C.
 
The Pt100 sensor supports 4...80 °C measurements with 0.1 °C resolution and Class A accuracy, giving occupational safety and environmental teams a reliable input for heat stress assessment. The probe is used together with the required dry bulb and globe thermometer probes for WBGT indoor and outdoor calculations.
 
Commissioning remains straightforward in the field. The SICRAM probe connects via an 8-pole female DIN45326 connector with 2 m cable, while the cotton wick and bottle reservoir are prepared with distilled water before measurement. For measurements in presence of solar irradiation, the protection shield from solar radiations is used.

Features

Natural wet bulb measurement

The probe measures natural ventilation wet bulb temperature as one of the required inputs for WBGT indoor and outdoor index calculation.

Bottle and wick assembly

The sensor cap holds a cotton wick dipped in distilled water. The 500 cc bottle screws to the reservoir and the probe mounts on the SP35TC support.

Solar radiation shield

For measurements in presence of solar irradiation, the protection shield from solar radiations is used.

SICRAM connection

The probe connects via an 8-pole female DIN45326 connector with 2 m cable. Calibration data are stored in the SICRAM module memory.

Periodic wick replacement

The cotton wick must be replaced periodically because it tends to calcify over time.
