Pt100 immersion probe for liquids and gases

GTF 401

Pt100 immersion probe for liquids and gases with Pt100 sensing element, -50 ... +400 °C measuring range, DIN class B/A/AA options and Mini-DIN, banana plug, jack plug or loose-end connections.

Introduction

In liquid and gas temperature measurement, the right probe geometry makes daily work easier. This family measures from -50 ... +400 °C with a Pt100 sensing element and offers DIN class B, A, AA (1/3 DIN class B) and 1/10 DIN class B accuracy options, giving users a clear choice between standard monitoring and tighter measurement tasks.

The standard version uses a 150 mm probe length, Ø3 mm V4A stainless steel tube, 1 m PVC cable and plastic handle with bend protection. Other diameters, cable types and connection styles adapt the probe to different instruments and installation points, including Mini-DIN, banana plugs, 3.5 mm jack plug and loose ends with ferrules.

For demanding media or handling conditions, optional designs add useful flexibility: Teflon-coated probes are available for acids and seawater up to 250 °C, while sheathed Pt100 elements offer bendable sections, high temperature resistance, high vibration resistance and long service life.

Flexible configuration
Choose probe length, diameter, cable and connection style to match the measuring point.
Wide temperature use
Covers liquid and gas measurement from -50 ... +400 °C with a Pt100 sensing element.
Accuracy choice
DIN class B, A, AA and 1/10 DIN class B options support different measurement requirements.
Fast liquid response
T90 in water is approx. 10 s, with < 5 s or < 2 s possible on selected probe designs.

Features

Pt100 sensing element

The probe family uses a Pt100 sensor for temperature measurement in liquids and gases.

Probe tube variants

The standard probe tube is V4A stainless steel. Diameters include Ø3 mm, 4 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm and other slim versions.

Sheathed element versions

Selected versions use sheathed elements with a short rigid section followed by a bendable section.

Cable materials

Cable options include PVC, silicone, Teflon, glass fiber and spiral cable versions in different lengths.

Connection options

Available connections include Mini-DIN, 2-wire or 4-wire banana plugs, 3.5 mm jack plug and loose ends with ferrules.

Handle designs

The standard handle is plastic with bend protection. Options include a waterproof potted version with PVC cable and a Teflon handle.

Teflon-coated probe

The optional Teflon-coated probe is intended for acids and seawater and is specified up to max. 250 °C.
