Dry high-temperature measuring points often leave little room for bulky probes. The GTF 300 GS family uses fine 0.2 mm Type K thermocouple wires to measure quickly in air, gases and on very small surfaces, with an approx. 0.3 s response time for fast temperature changes.
The glass filament insulated version extends the measuring range up to +400 °C and is optimized for dry environments. Class 1 accuracy gives users a dependable basis for portable checks, test setups and temperature measurements where a flexible wire probe is easier to place than a rigid sensor.
The family covers several practical configurations. Users can select twisted and welded tips, untwisted welded tips or a weld bead, with cable lengths of 1, 2, 5 or 10 m. Connection is available via a miniature flat-pin plug with kink protection or loose ends with wire end ferrules.
The probe uses NiCr-NiAl Type K thermocouple wires with a fine wire diameter of 0.2 mm.

With a suitable display device, the probe can be supplied with DAkkS/ACCREDIA-accredited ISO/IEC 17025 or ISO 9001 calibration.
