Temperature checks on air flows and pipe surfaces need a probe that is easy to handle and technically dependable. This Pt1000 probe family supports mobile and service measurements with DIN class B 2-wire sensing, with selected variants also available in class AA for higher accuracy requirements.
The family covers measuring ranges from -20 ... +105 °C or, for '-MB1' variants, -50 ... +200 °C. A V4A probe tube with Ø5 mm diameter and 50 mm length supports practical contact and air measurements, while BNC, 2 x Ø4 mm banana plug or Ø3.5 mm jack plug connections make use with compatible handheld meters straightforward.
For wet or moisture-prone tasks, waterproof versions are available with PVC cable and a sealed probe tube. These versions are specified for probe and cable temperatures up to +105 °C. Response times of T90 < 10 s in water at 0.4 m/s and approx. 60 s in air at 2 m/s support practical field use.
The probe family uses a Pt1000 resistance sensor in 2-wire configuration according to DIN class B or AA.
Depending on the version, the probe is available in class B or class AA for different accuracy requirements.
Electrical connection is provided via BNC plug, 2 x Ø4 mm banana plugs or Ø3.5 mm jack plug with gold-plated Pt1000 contacts.
The probe uses a V4A probe tube with Ø5 mm diameter and 50 mm length.
Variants use highly flexible silicone cable or PVC cable, each available in different lengths.
The waterproof design uses PVC cable and a probe tube sealed by shrink tubing. Probe and cable are limited to max. +105 °C.
The probe reaches T90 in < 10 s in water at 0.4 m/s and approx. 60 s in air at 2 m/s.
