Fast temperature checks in liquids need a probe that transfers heat quickly and fits the measuring point cleanly. This immersion probe family is designed for liquids and gases, with a T90 response time of <2 s in water at 0.4 m/s across both versions.
The standard GTF 175 covers -70 ... +250 °C with a Pt1000 (2-wire) sensor element and selectable DIN Class B, A, AA or 1/3 DIN Class B accuracy. For applications that require a slim, bendable probe tube, the GTF 175 / 1.6 uses a Ø1.6 mm V4A sheathed element and covers -70 ... +200 °C. Its sheathed design supports high temperature resistance, vibration resistance and long service life.
The family offers practical configuration freedom for different instruments and handling needs. Versions are available with V4A probe tubes, silicone or PVC cables, several plug options, ferruled loose ends and different handle designs. The standard probe length is 100 mm, with further lengths available.
The standard GTF 175 uses a Pt1000 (2-wire) sensor element. The GTF 175 / 1.6 is available with Pt1000 (2-wire), Pt1000 (4-wire) or Pt100 (4-wire).
GTF 175 is available in DIN Class B, A, AA (1/3 DIN Class B) accuracy. GTF 175 / 1.6 is specified with DIN Class B accuracy.
The standard version uses a rust-resistant V4A tube in Ø3 mm, Ø5 mm or Ø6 mm. The GTF 175 / 1.6 uses a bendable Ø1.6 mm sheathed element.
Versions are available with 1 m highly flexible silicone cable, other silicone cable lengths, PVC cable in different lengths or, for GTF 175, 1 m Teflon cable.
The standard design has a plastic handle with bend protection screw connection. Options include waterproof potting with PVC cable and, for GTF 175, a large Teflon handle.
Depending on version, the probes are available with BNC plug, ferruled loose ends, Ø4 mm banana plugs, 3.5 mm jack plug or Mini-DIN plug.
The standard GTF 175 can be supplied with a Teflon-covered probe for acid and seawater applications, limited to a maximum of 250 °C.
