Higher conductivity media and contaminated liquids place greater demands on the measuring cell. GLMU 400 MP uses a 4-pole conductivity cell, making it well suited for measurements above 2000 µS/cm, seawater and contamination-prone applications.
The transmitter measures conductivity and calculated values including specific resistivity, TDS and salinity, with five conductivity ranges from 0.1 µS/cm to 500 mS/cm. The current value is shown on the 4-digit LCD display, while temperature can be displayed at the touch of a key.
Integration into monitoring or control systems is handled via a scalable standard output. The factory-defined version provides 4...20 mA or 0...10 V, and the output can be assigned to selected display values. Temperature compensation is configurable as off, nonlinear compensation for natural waters according to EN 27888, or linear compensation with an adjustable coefficient.

Compensation can be switched off, set to nonlinear compensation for natural waters according to EN 27888, or set to linear compensation with an adjustable coefficient.
The device is available with a 4–20 mA two-wire output or with 0–1 V and 0–10 V three-wire outputs. The output type is fixed at the factory.
The lower and upper output points are set by entering the display values assigned to 4 mA and 20 mA, or to the voltage output limits.
The 4-digit LCD displays the current measured value. Temperature, minimum values and maximum values can be called up using the device keys.
Parameters are set via keyboard, including cell constant, measuring function, range, temperature compensation, reference temperature and TDS factor.
The ABS wall-mount housing uses an angled plug according to DIN 43650 for the electrical connection
