Conductivity transmitter for clean or pure water

GLMU200

Conductivity transmitter for clean water measurement, with 2-pole cell for pure, drinking and freshwater. Covers 0.1 µS/cm..200.0 mS/cm with LCD display and 4...20 mA or 0...10 V output.

Introduction

Clean water applications need stable conductivity measurement without unnecessary complexity. GLMU 200 MP measures conductivity and calculated values in liquids, using a cost-optimized 2-pole measuring cell for pure water, drinking water and freshwater tasks.

The transmitter helps operators adapt one device to several measurement needs. It can be configured for conductivity, specific resistivity, TDS or salinity and temperature shown on the 4-digit LCD display.

Integration into control or monitoring systems is straightforward. The measured value is supplied via a scalable 4...20 mA output or optional 0...10 V output, while temperature compensation can be set to none, nonlinear compensation for natural waters according to EN 27888, or linear compensation with an adjustable coefficient.

2-pole measuring cell

LMU 200 MP uses a 2-pole measuring cell and is intended for pure water, drinking water and freshwater.

Temperature compensation

Compensation can be switched off, set to nonlinear compensation for natural waters according to EN 27888, or set to linear compensation with an adjustable coefficient

Analog output

The output is available as 4–20 mA in two-wire connection or as 0–1 V / 0–10 V in three-wire connection. The version is fixed at the factory.

Output scaling

The lower and upper output points are configured by entering the display values assigned to 4 mA or 20 mA, or to the voltage output limits.

Display functions

The device shows the current measured value during operation. A key press switches briefly to temperature display, and minimum and maximum values can be viewed and cleared.

Device configuration

Parameters are set directly by keyboard, including cell constant, measuring function, measuring range, temperature reference, TDS factor and temperature correction.
