Oxygen partial pressure sensor for pressurized gas systems

GGA xxx

Oxygen partial pressure sensor for gas analysis in overpressure or underpressure systems, covering 0.0 … 35.0 or 0.0 … 100.0 vol. % O2 by model, with M16 x 1 thread, pressure connection and cable lengths up to 10 m.

Introduction

Field work is easier when the sensor matches both the gas path and the handheld meter. The closed GGA housing includes a pressure connection for systems with overpressure, underpressure or dynamic pressure from gas flow, and can be screwed tightly into systems within the specified limits.

Used with a suitable GMH instrument pressure connection, the sensor port links directly to the instrument pressure port. This lets the actual pressure at the membrane be measured and compensated automatically, improving confidence when calibration and measurement conditions differ.

The family covers acidic and basic electrolyte versions for different oxygen tasks. GGA 370/570 supports 0.0 … 35.0 vol. % O2 and high CO2 concentrations; GGA 381/581 supports 0.0 … 100.0 vol. % O2 for low oxygen or concentrations above 35 vol.-% O2 where larger CO2 content is not present. Cable options up to 10 m give extra mounting flexibility.

Pressure-ready
Closed housing with pressure connection supports overpressure, underpressure and dynamic gas flow.
Automatic compensation
With GMH pressure connection, actual membrane pressure is measured and compensated.
Two oxygen ranges
Choose 0.0 … 35.0 or 0.0 … 100.0 vol. % O2, depending on the sensor element.
Cable flexibility
Depending on the model, different cable length options are available.

Features

Instrument compatibility

GGA 370 and GGA 381 are for the GMH 369x series; GGA 570 and GGA 581 are for the GMH 569x series.

Closed GGA housing

The housing is designed as a closed sensor with pressure connection and can be screwed into systems with small overpressure or underpressure within the specified pressure limits.

Electrolyte variants

GOEL 370 uses acidic electrolyte for high CO2 concentrations. GOEL 381 uses basic electrolyte for low oxygen and use up to 100 vol.-% O2 without larger CO2 concentration.

Replaceable sensor element

The housing opens into two halves, allowing the sensor element to be exchanged with the O-ring and internal audio plug reassembled as described.

Integrated temperature sensor

The sensor connection includes an integrated temperature sensor for use with the compatible GMH instrument series.

Process connection

The housing has an M16 x 1 screw thread and can be connected to line tubes by means of an additional adapter.
