Temperature checks in soft materials, liquids and gases need a probe that reaches the measuring point quickly without adding cable handling. This compact Pt1000 penetration probe connects directly to BNC-equipped 2-wire instruments, allowing one-hand use and clear reading on compatible ECO line meters with a rotatable display.
The -70 ... +250 °C measuring range at the probe tip gives users wide coverage for research, industrial, kitchen and household tasks. The V4A stainless-steel shaft is available in Ø 1.5 mm or Ø 3 mm, with the thinner version reaching T90 in water 0.4 m/s in < 1 s and the Ø 3 mm version in < 2 s.
For field use and wet measurement environments, ingress protection (IP)67 applies when the BNC connector is plugged in. The probe shaft is suitable for continuous contact with foodstuffs according to Regulation (EC) 1935/2004, while accuracy classes DIN B, A and AA support variant selection.
The probe uses a Pt1000, 2-wire thin-film sensor for connection to compatible display units and handheld instruments with BNC inputs.
The shaft is available in Ø 1.5 mm needle style or Ø 3 mm rigid insertion style, each with 100 mm probe length and 137 mm total length.
Class DIN B is available for both diameters; Class DIN A is available for Ø 1.5 mm, and Class DIN AA for Ø 3 mm.
The connector includes an EPDM sleeve rated up to +75 °C and allows direct attachment to the measuring instrument.
The sensor sheath is made of 1.4404 / V4A stainless steel; the tip to 1 cm before the plug is designed for continuous food contact.
