Type K handle probe for gases, liquids and soft materials up to 550 °C

GF 1TK

Thermocouple handle probe for temperature measurement in gases, liquids and soft materials, with Type K sensor, -65 ... +550 °C probe-tip range, stainless steel sheath, IP65/IP67 protection and fast T90 response.

Introduction

Temperature checks in hot or wet working areas need a probe that is easy to handle and built for real contact with the medium. This compact pen-type handle probe measures in gases, liquids and soft materials, with immersion and insertion versions for different measurement tasks.

The Type K sensor covers -65 ... +550 °C at the probe tip, while the silicone handle withstands up to 250 °C. A stainless steel AISI 316 sheath adds durability for routine field and process use, and ingress protection (IP) IP65 and IP67 help protect the sensor sheath and handle during demanding measurements.

Fast response supports efficient checks on site. The Ø 1.5 mm insertion version reaches T90 in water in less than 1 s, while Ø 3 mm versions reach T90 in water in less than 2 s. Miniature flat plug and loose-end versions support connection to compatible instruments and integration tasks.

Wide temperature use
Measures -65 ... +550 °C at the probe tip for hot and cold applications.
Fast contact readings
T90 in water is < 1 s for Ø 1.5 mm and < 2 s for Ø 3 mm versions.
Protected handling
Sensor sheath and handle are water-protected according to IP65 and IP67.
Flexible probe choice
Immersion and insertion versions cover gases, liquids and soft materials.

Features

Type K sensor element

The probe uses a Type K (NiCr-Ni) thermocouple with the junction welded to the sheath.

Probe geometries

The family includes Ø 3 mm immersion, Ø 3 mm insertion and Ø 1.5 mm needle-type insertion designs.

Stainless steel sheath

The sensor sheath is made from AISI 316 (1.4404) stainless steel.

Silicone handle and cable

The pen-type silicone handle is rated up to max. +250 °C, with a 1 meter silicone cable.

Connector versions

The cable is available with a miniature flat plug or loose ends with wire end ferrules, depending on version.

Accuracy class

Accuracy is derived from DIN EN 60584-1:2014-07, class 1, with tolerance values of ±1.5 °C or 0.004 x |t|.
