Fast pressure changes are easier to understand when the measuring chain can capture them directly on a PC. GDUSB 1000 connects GMSD/GMxD pressure sensors to a USB interface and supports high-speed pressure curve analysis, pressure peak detection and long-run pressure monitoring.
For dynamic tests, Fast mode records very fast pressure changes with a measuring cycle from 1 ms to 10 s and supports trigger-based recording with pre-trigger. In Standard mode, the adapter responds like a GMH3xxx portable measuring instrument and can be used with standard GMH/EASYBus software for long-run pressure measurements or leakage tests.
Automatic sensor detection sets the measuring range when the sensor is plugged in, reducing setup effort during sensor changes. The adapter is powered via USB, uses selectable pressure units including mbar, bar, kPa, MPa, mmHg, PSI and mH2O, and delivers typical accuracy of ±0.2 % FS at nominal temperature.
The adapter provides Standard mode for requested measurements and Fast mode for automatic transmission after a trigger condition.
Four channels are available for measurand, average, minimal peak and maximal peak, depending on the selected mode and cycle time.
Fast mode starts and stops recording using configurable trigger conditions, with pre-trigger for values before the start condition.
GMSD/GMxD pressure sensors connect via a 6-pin screened lockable Mini-DIN socket.
The software supports selectable units including mbar, bar, kPa, MPa, mmHg, PSI and mH2O, depending on the connected sensor.
The PC connection uses a standard USB type A plug and supplies power to the adapter through the USB interface.
Zero correction, slope correction and altitude correction for absolute pressure sensors are configured in the software and stored in the sensor.
