Reliable flow monitoring in compact water lines starts with a defined switching point. The FX family uses a mechanical principle with magnetic reed switch actuation to monitor liquid media. A selectable switching range from 0.4...12 l/min H2O covers DN 15 water applications, with versions available without spring support or with spring support for higher switch values.
Installation stays practical on site. The POM plastic housing includes a 25 µm filter, the connection is G 1/2 A male thread, and the electrical connection uses a 0.5 m cable. With PN 10 pressure resistance, ingress protection (IP65) and media temperatures from -20...+70 °C, the switch supports dependable operation in water and liquid-media lines.
For applications that need a controlled outlet flow, the optional integrated flow limiter regulates water flow once the upstream pressure exceeds 2 bar. Set flow rates from 3 to 12 l/min are available for a 2...10 bar differential pressure range.
The device monitors liquid flow with magnetic actuation of a reed switch and is designed as a normally open contact.
The family uses a DN 15 body with a G 1/2 A male thread connection. For plastic parts, gauge accuracy of the thread cannot be guaranteed.
FX operates without spring support, while FXF adds spring support for higher switching values in the specified range.
The switch uses a 0.5 m cable. A load must be connected in series, and the electrical data apply to resistive loads.
All mounting positions are possible except inflow from above. The installation position affects the switching point.
The integrated limiter is mounted in the outlet piece and regulates water flow at a differential pressure of 2...10 bar.
