Mechanical flow indicator for liquid media, with measuring ranges from 2.1 - 17 to 2.1 - 24 l/min H2O across DN 15 - 25 sizes, G 1/2 to G 1 female threads, PN 16 pressure resistance and natural glass windows.

Introduction

Keeping flow visible at the pipework helps operators react quickly without adding electronics. This mechanical indicator shows the current flow of liquid media directly in the flow chamber, using a stainless steel flap that rises with the volume flow.
 
The family covers DN 15, DN 20 and DN 25 versions with G 1/2, G 3/4 and G 1 female threads. Measuring ranges for water extend from 2.1 - 17 to 2.1 - 24 l/min H2O, with recommended Qmax values up to 65 l/min. PN 16 pressure resistance and water media temperatures from 0...+100 °C support use in demanding process pipework.
 
Large windows on both sides make the scale easy to read from the installation area, while natural glass and wetted materials including Rg 5, CW614N, 1.4310, 1.4305 and Klingersil C4400 give the indicator a robust mechanical design. Standard installation uses horizontal flow from the left; bottom flow is available as an option, with the mounting position influencing the range.

Features

Mechanical flap principle

The flow chamber contains a stainless steel flap. Volume flow raises the flap, and the position indicates the current flow rate on the scale.

Female thread sizes

The family includes DN 15, DN 20 and DN 25 nominal sizes with G 1/2, G 3/4 and G 1 female threaded connections.

Scale allocation

The indicator uses a 1 to 10 scale allocation. The l/min H2O value assigned to each scale mark depends on the size and measuring range.

Wetted material set

Wetted parts include Rg 5, CW614N, 1.4310, 1.4305, soda-lime glass and Klingersil C4400. Non-wetted parts use aluminum.

Media specification

The source specifies water as the medium and notes oils on request. Media temperature is listed separately for water and oils.

Mounting orientation

The standard flow direction is horizontal from the left. Flow from below is optional, and the mounting position affects the measuring range.
