Temperature and humidity transmitter for clean rooms

ETS68

Temperature and humidity transmitter for clean rooms and high-performance indoor use, measuring 0…100% RH and -40…+80 °C with RS485 Modbus-RTU, optional analog outputs and IP65 PBT housing.

Introduction

Stable climate data is critical in clean rooms and demanding indoor environments, where small changes in humidity or temperature can affect process confidence. ETS68 measures relative humidity and temperature with high resolution and clean digital integration, using RS485 Modbus-RTU output as standard.

The transmitter supports reliable monitoring with 0.01% RH and 0.01 °C resolution, RH accuracy of ±1.2% from 0…85% at 5…50 °C and a response time below 10 s with the P8 standard filter. It is factory-calibrated at multiple relative humidity points, ready to use on installation and available with an optional ISO/IEC 17025 calibration certificate.

For flexible system integration, ETS68 offers optional 0…1 V, 0…5 V or 0…10 V analog outputs for temperature and humidity, depending on model. The compact Ø14 mm PBT housing with IP65 protection fits neatly into OEM and monitoring setups.

Features

Measured parameters

The transmitter measures relative humidity and temperature, with optional barometric pressure depending on model configuration.

Calculated humidity values

It provides dew point, wet bulb temperature, absolute humidity, mixing ratio, specific enthalpy and other humidity-related quantities.

Digital communication

RS485 output supports Modbus-RTU or ASCII proprietary protocol, with configurable address and communication parameters.

Analog output options

Depending on model, two additional 0…1 V, 0…5 V or 0…10 V outputs can be used for temperature and humidity.

Output configuration

Analog ranges can be configured within the full measuring range, associated with relative humidity or dew point and set for direct or reversed behavior.

Electrical connection

Versions with RS485 use a 4-pole M12 connector, while versions with additional analog outputs use an 8-pole M12 connector.
