Daily water and nutrient checks need a meter that is quick to use, easy to read and ready for demanding field conditions. ECO 521 measures conductivity in liquids up to 5000 μS/cm and also displays EC, CF, TDS and temperature, making it well suited for hydroponics, aquaculture, plant breeding, osmosis plants and boiler feed water checks.
The permanently connected 2-pole titanium measuring cell is designed for long-term stable, fast measurement and includes an integrated temperature sensor for quick, accurate temperature compensation. For natural water applications, nonlinear temperature compensation according to EN 27888 can be selected.
A compact, break-proof ABS housing with ingress protection IP65/IP67 supports reliable daily use. The 3-line illuminated display shows measured values clearly, while Min/Max/Hold functions, overhead display at the push of a button and more than 1000 h battery life help keep routine measurements simple.
The device measures conductivity, EC, CF, TDS and temperature with a permanently connected measuring cell for liquid applications.
The LF 209 2-pole titanium/plastic measuring cell is fixed-mounted, with Ø 12 mm design and 1.2 m cable length.
Automatic temperature compensation is available, with nonlinear compensation according to EN 27888 and a deactivated mode.
The 3-line display includes background light, battery status indicator and overhead display. Four long-life buttons control operation.
The device supports offset and gradient correction for temperature and gradient correction for the conductivity value.
The handheld housing is made from break-proof ABS and measures 108 x 54 x 28 mm without the sensor.
