Oxygen profiling in wastewater, sea water aquafarming and natural waters demands a sensor that keeps working where handling is difficult and flow conditions change. DX 532 uses an optical measuring principle, so oxygen readings do not depend on chemical substances or a minimum flow at the membrane.
For field teams, the integrated hydrostatic depth measurement adds direct value: oxygen saturation profiles can be recorded down to nearly 30 m, helping identify thermoclines and separate oxygen-rich epilimnion from oxygen-lacking hypolimnion. The sensor measures oxygen saturation, oxygen concentration, temperature and pressure, with automatic temperature compensation and user-input salinity compensation.
Built for demanding outdoor use, DX 532 combines an IP68 protection degree with a PPS housing, fixed PUR cable and M12 DX sensor connection. The fully digital DX interface connects it to PRO-Line meters, including multi-channel setups for evaluating several digital sensors in parallel.
The sensor uses luminescence quenching to measure dissolved oxygen without consuming oxygen at the measuring membrane.
The probe measures oxygen saturation, oxygen concentration, temperature and pressure, including a hydrostatic channel for depth.
Temperature is compensated automatically. Salinity compensation uses user input from 2... 42 ppt. Pressure compensation automatically as well.
