Digital temperature and humidity probe for handheld meters

DX 31x

Digital temperature and humidity probe for PRO handheld meters, measuring 0…100% RH and temperature up to +125 °C or +160 °C, with 0.01 resolution, calculated humidity quantities and M12 connection.

Introduction

Reliable climate checks start with a probe that is ready when the operator is. The DX310 / DX311 family measures relative humidity and temperature for compatible PRO handheld meters, supporting quick field readings, mobile logging and on-site verification with one digital probe family.

The probes cover 0…100% RH with 0.01% resolution and use a Pt100 temperature sensor with 0.01 °C resolution. DX310 measures temperature from -40…+125 °C, while DX311 extends the range to -50…+160 °C. Stored calibration data make the probes interchangeable without recalibration, helping teams change probes with less downtime.

For deeper climate analysis, the probes also calculate dew point, wet bulb temperature, absolute and specific humidity, mixing ratio, specific enthalpy, partial vapor pressure, frost point temperature and saturation vapor pressure above water and ice. Multipoint relative humidity factory calibration, low typical power consumption below 1 mA and optional DAkkS/ACCREDIA calibration support dependable measurements in portable applications.

Features

Digital probe interface

The probes connect to compatible PRO handheld meters via the DX-Sensor-Interface and a 4-pole M12 connection.

Temperature and RH sensing

Relative humidity is measured with a temperature-compensated capacitive sensor, while temperature is measured with a Pt100 element.

Calculated humidity quantities

The probe provides multiple calculated climate values, including dew point, wet bulb temperature, absolute humidity, mixing ratio and frost point temperature.

Probe formats

DX310 can be screwed directly onto the instrument or connected by cable. DX311 uses an ergonomic handle with cable connection.

Cable variants

DX311 is available with 1 m, 2 m or 5 m cable lengths, with other lengths on request according to the ordering structure.

Filter cap options

Optional filter caps include sintered stainless steel, PTFE and standard PBT versions with stainless steel grid protection.
