Digital pressure probes for relative and absolute reference pressure

DX 2x5

Digital pressure probes for relative and absolute reference pressure, covering 1 to 1000 bar rel. or 1 to 25 bar abs., with 0.1 % FS accuracy, G ½ manometer thread, M12 DX-Sensor interface and IP67 housing.

Selected product option for Digital pressure probes for relative and absolute reference pressure. All information below applies to the selected product option.

Introduction

Reference pressure measurements need sensors that stay accurate, connect securely and can be exchanged without extra setup. The DX 225 / DX 245 series provides robust digital pressure probes for PRO Line handheld meters, with relative ranges from 1 to 1000 bar and absolute/vacuum ranges from 1 to 25 bar.

Factory calibration data are stored in the probe, allowing sensor interchangeability without recalibration. Accuracy of 0.1 % FS, temperature compensation from -20 to +60 °C and internal measuring speed of 50 /s support dependable readings for reference checks, MinP, AvgP and MaxP envelope values.

The rigid stainless-steel body and G ½ manometer thread are designed for demanding pressure connections up to 1000 bar. Low power consumption, IP67 protection and the M12 DX-Sensor interface make the probes a practical match for PRO D01, PRO D05-x, PRO 921 and PRO 925 measurement workflows.

Reference accuracy
0.1 % FS accuracy supports dependable pressure reference measurements.
Exchange without delay
Calibration data are stored in the probe, avoiding recalibration after exchange.
Robust connection
G ½ manometer thread is designed for pressures up to 1000 bar.
Fast sensor values
Internal 50 /s measuring speed provides MinP, AvgP and MaxP channels.

Features

Relative and absolute variants

DX 225 probes measure relative pressure, while DX 245 probes measure absolute and vacuum pressure.

DX-Sensor interface

The M12 DX-Sensor interface connects the probes to compatible PRO Line handheld meters.

Process connection

The probes use a G ½ manometer thread for connection to the pressure process.

Sensor technology

Models up to 40 bar use piezoresistive technology, while models above 40 bar use a thin film cell.

Sensor channels

The probes provide last value, minimum, average and maximum values from the sensor.

Sea level correction

DX 245 sensors provide SLP as a value corrected to sea level.

Material design

The process connection is stainless steel 1.4404/316L; models above 40 bar use an Elgiloy 2.4711 sensor.

Calibration options

Optional ISO 9001 factory calibration or DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 DAkkS/ACCREDIA certificates are available.
