Demanding field measurements need a probe that can be pushed into the material ergonomically, cleaned easily and trusted over repeated use. These precision Pt1000 insertion probes are built for temperature checks in liquid asphalt, pellets, wood chips, compost, bagged grain and lightly compressed hay or straw bales.
The stainless-steel stem combines corrosion resistance with high temperature resistance and is suitable for continuous food contact. A robust probe tip and tube design balances response speed with mechanical strength, while the ergonomic PA6-GF30 handle supports operating temperatures up to 120 °C.
With a measuring range of -50 ... +250 °C, tolerance classes B or AA and water protection IP67, the probes give dependable readings in mobile and professional field use. Cable and connection options include PVC or coiled cable, BNC connector or loose ends, while optional ISO 9001 calibration with suitable display instruments (e.g. ECO 120).
Ø 3/6 mm, Ø 6 mm and Ø 8 mm stems cover asphalt, bulk goods, bale and food measurements.
The probe uses a 2-wire Pt1000 thin film sensor for analog temperature measurement with suitable reference instruments.
Versions are available in tolerance classes B and AA according to IEC 751 and EN 60751 applicability limits
Cable termination options include BNC-connector or loose ends with wire end ferrules.
