Use level switching in hazardous areas without adding complexity to your installation. The ATEX A-H1.1 switch head is designed for the HD device series (HD1K, HD1KO, HD2K, HD2KO) and provides a reliable switching function via a Reed contact for intrinsically safe circuits.
The compact, robust design supports demanding industrial environments, with ingress protection (IP65) to industrial standard and a black-coated steel housing. Electrical switching is rated up to 30 V and 1 A with ohmic loads, while media temperatures from -20 to +120 °C cover many typical process applications.
Commissioning stays practical on site: if you need to adjust the switching point, the switch head can be positioned longitudinally and then fixed using the fastening screw. The switch head is supplied with a blue, numbered 3-core cable (2.5 m or 5 m). Use only with intrinsically safe circuits and provide a suitable isolating switching amplifier; cable length is limited to max. 5 m.
Intrinsically safe switch head with Reed contact, designed as a changeover contact.
Blue, 3-core, numbered cable connection; available cable lengths are 2.5 m and 5 m.
Switching point can be adjusted via longitudinal positioning, then fixed with a fastening screw.
Rated for max. 30 V switching voltage and max. 1 A switching current for ohmic loads.
Intended only for intrinsically safe circuits; a suitable isolating switching amplifier is required.
A load must be connected in series; capacitive, inductive and lamp loads require protective circuitry.
Housing material is steel with black coating; sliding plate is nickel-plated brass.
Media temperature -20 to +120 °C; ambient temperature 20 to +50 °C
