Introduction

Directional hotwire probe, 180°C articulated tip for easy positioning, to measure air speed in the range 0.1...40m/s and air temperature in the range -25°C...+80°C.

Temperature compensation from 0 to +80°C. Probe diameter (measurement area) 8mm. Probe complete with handle and telescopic shaft.

Probe complete with SICRAM module.

Flow direction choice
Directional and omnidirectional versions fit defined or variable air flow conditions.
Speed and temperature
Measures air speed up to 40 m/s or 5 m/s, with model-specific air temperature ranges.
Telescopic handling
All versions include a telescopic shaft for positioning the sensing element.

The family uses hotwire probes to measure air speed and air temperature with compatible portable instruments.

SICRAM connection

Each probe is complete with SICRAM module for connection to suitable portable measuring instruments.

Directional versions

AP471S1 and AP471S3 are directional probes for measurement tasks with a defined air flow direction.

Omnidirectional versions

AP471S2 and AP471S4 are omnidirectional probes for air speed measurement where flow direction can vary.

Temperature compensation

AP471S1, AP471S2 and AP471S3 include temperature compensation from 0 to +80°C.

Telescopic shaft

All versions feature a telescopic shaft.

AP471S1: min. 360 mm, max. 1060 mm.

AP471S2: min. 360 mm, max. 1060 mm.

AP471S3: min. 450 mm, max. 1140 mm.

AP471S4: min. 380 mm, max. 760 mm.

Articulated tip

AP471S3 includes a 180°C articulated tip for positioning the probe head during measurement.

AP471S4 is supplied as an omnidirectional hotwire probe with telescopic shaft and table base.
