Air velocity work becomes easier when the probe fits the flow pattern and the measuring setup. This hotwire probe family measures air speed and air temperature with a SICRAM connection for compatible portable instruments.
Directional versions AP471S1 and AP471S3 are available for defined flow direction, while AP471S2 and AP471S4 measure omnidirectionally. Depending on the model, the family covers air speed ranges of 0.02...40 m/s or 0.02...5 m/s. AP471S1, AP471S2 and AP471S3 measure air temperature from -25...+80 °C with temperature compensation from 0 to +80°C; AP471S4 covers 0...+80 °C.
All versions feature a telescopic shaft for positioning the sensing element. AP471S3 adds a 180°C articulated tip for easier alignment, and AP471S4 combines omnidirectional measurement with a telescopic shaft and table base.
The family uses hotwire probes to measure air speed and air temperature with compatible portable instruments.
Each probe is complete with SICRAM module for connection to suitable portable measuring instruments.
AP471S1 and AP471S3 are directional probes for measurement tasks with a defined air flow direction.
AP471S2 and AP471S4 are omnidirectional probes for air speed measurement where flow direction can vary.
AP471S1, AP471S2 and AP471S3 include temperature compensation from 0 to +80°C.
All versions feature a telescopic shaft.
AP471S1: min. 360 mm, max. 1060 mm.
AP471S2: min. 360 mm, max. 1060 mm.
AP471S3: min. 450 mm, max. 1140 mm.
AP471S4: min. 380 mm, max. 760 mm.
AP471S3 includes a 180°C articulated tip for positioning the probe head during measurement.
AP471S4 is supplied as an omnidirectional hotwire probe with telescopic shaft and table base.
