We translate ESG into defined processes and measurable indicators. Certified management systems and regular audits help us track progress in a measurable and accountable way. Our Codes of Conduct turn these commitments into clear, binding expectations for employees and suppliers.
We encourage ourselves and others to continually engage on environmental, social and governance issues because we believe we can always make a difference.
The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, provides a shared framework for peace, prosperity and the sustainable development of people and the planet, both today and in the future. At its core are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, which represent an urgent call to action for all countries, developed and developing alike, within a global partnership. In 2022, Senseca joined the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
For us, responsible resource use is both a conviction and an economic necessity. Our policy applies across our processes, products and services, and procurement, with a clear focus on identifying impacts early, preventing pollution, and using energy, water, and materials efficiently. We also commit to reducing energy consumption by 5% annually, with externally audited reporting on energy use and greenhouse gas emissions.
Environmentally relevant processes are integrated into our certified environmental management system in line with DIN EN ISO 14001. This framework helps us assess environmental impacts, derive targets and measures, and keep improvements ongoing rather than one-off.
At Senseca, I feel looked after and taken seriously. We pay attention to safety in everyday work, people treat each other with respect, and I’m given real chances to learn and grow through trainings.
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward money laundering and terrorist financing and prohibit such practices even for third parties acting on our behalf. Our prevention efforts follow a risk-based approach, featuring clear internal guidelines as well as structured analysis and risk-based monitoring of business partners before and during our collaboration. Implementation is ensured through defined responsibilities, regular training, compliance checks, and, if necessary, audits.
We promote an open, ethical corporate culture and encourage employees to report suspected misconduct or illegal activities through the designated channels. Every report is treated with strict confidentiality. Reports can be made in person to internal contacts or online through an external reporting office. To protect against retaliation, Senseca guarantees confidentiality and, upon request, anonymity. Anyone who reports in good faith must not be punished. Discrimination or harassment is considered a violation of the Code of Conduct. At the same time, Senseca expects reports to be made in good faith and does not tolerate knowingly false accusations.
We protect our integrity by avoiding, disclosing, and resolving conflicts of interest. A conflict of interest arises when personal, social, or financial interests conflict or could conflict with the ability to act in Senseca’s best interests. The reporting and review process is clearly defined. Existing or potential conflicts of interest must be reported immediately and subsequently resolved in a manner that eliminates or reduces risks. The disclosure requirement creates transparency and reduces the risk of decisions being improperly influenced. Compliance is supported through training and internal audits.
Corruption and bribery are incompatible with our values. This policy raises employee awareness of risks and provides clear guidelines, particularly regarding gifts and invitations, interactions with public officials, and collaboration with agents and consultants. We ensure compliance through documented procedures, regular training, and targeted compliance audits in high-risk areas.

Health & Safety
Health and safety are a shared responsibility at Senseca. We pursue a “zero tolerance” approach to workplace accidents and rely on clear standards, regular reviews of measures, and compliance with all applicable occupational health and safety requirements. We understand health not only as the absence of illness, but as physical, mental, and social well-being. Senseca provides information, training, and appropriate tools and equipment to support safe work in everyday operations.
Diversity & Inclusion
At Senseca, diversity and inclusion are integral to our daily collaboration and our Code of Conduct. We view them as the result of mutual respect and appreciation in our interactions with one another. Our goal is to promote equal opportunity and create a modern, flexible workplace where everyone is treated equally and respected for their contributions. To this end, we consistently combat discrimination, foster a culture of mutual respect, and set clear, measurable goals. Appropriate programs and initiatives support, among other things, work-life balance
Human Rights
Senseca is committed to the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights and maintains a clear stance: We do not tolerate any form of exploitation, coercion, or degrading treatment, and we are dedicated to promoting respect, equal treatment, and fair working conditions. Our principles apply both to our own activities and to key areas of our value chain. We expect our suppliers and business partners, as part of their due diligence obligations, to respect human rights and to manage labor and environmental risks responsibly.
