SICRAM module for voltage transmitter signals, measuring ±20 Vdc from voltage-output transmitters, with 1 MΩ input impedance and configurable linear scaling for physical quantities.

Introduction

Voltage-output transmitters can be brought into the HD31 measurement and logging workflow without changing the transmitter setup. This SICRAM module measures direct voltage applied at the input in the range -20 Vdc to +20 Vdc, allowing the instrument to acquire the signal from a connected voltage-output transmitter.
 
For easier interpretation, the instrument can define a linear correspondence between the acquired voltage and the related physical quantity. Users can then display and store the transmitter’s process value directly, while still keeping access to the voltage signal where needed.
 
The 1 MΩ input impedance supports practical signal acquisition in portable measurement tasks. It gives technicians and engineers a clean way to connect analog voltage transmitter outputs to display, storage and documentation functions on the HD31 instrument.
