Verifying UV LED sterilization systems needs a probe matched to the wavelength range where germicidal efficiency is highest. The UVBC-CK family combines the LP471UVBC radiometric probe with a portable photo-radiometer instrument for checking UV lights in sterilization systems that use LEDs as the UV source.
The probe covers 210...355 nm with a peak at 265 nm, making it suitable for UV LED light centered around the germicidal range. Its measuring range of 1 ∙ 10-3 ... 2000 W/m2, calibration uncertainty below 7% at 254 nm, linearity below 2% and drift below 2% after one year support reliable measurement documentation.
Two kits cover different field workflows. UVBC-CK01-ACC uses the HD2102.2 data logger with 38,000-sample memory, USB interface and selectable storage intervals. UVBC-CK02-ACC uses the HD2302.0 for direct portable reading. Both include the LP471UVBC probe with ISO 17025 Calibration Certificate.
The radiometric probe uses a solar-blind photodiode with filter and diffuser for UV measurement.
UVBC-CK01-ACC includes the HD2102.2 photo-radiometer data logger; UVBC-CK02-ACC includes the HD2302.0 photo-radiometer.
HD2302.0 measures in W/m2 and µW/cm2. HD2102.2 also supports J/m2 and µJ/cm2.
The HD2102.2 variant stores up to 38,000 samples with selectable storage intervals from 1 s to 1 hour.
The probe connects to the instrument via a connector with SICRAM module and 2 m cable.
The probe works from 0...50 °C. The instruments operate at 5...50 °C and 0...90% RH without condensation.
