Flow switch for water with solder and weld connection with reed switch

UR3K-V

Flow switch for water flow monitoring, covering DN 15...80 with 8.5...248 l/min H2O switch ranges, PN 25 pressure resistance and a reed switch output via DIN 43650-A / ISO 4400 connector.

Introduction

Reliable flow monitoring in pipework depends on a clear switching point and hardware that fits the installation without adding unnecessary restriction. This compact flow switch uses a spring-supported paddle with magnetic actuation of a reed switch, giving users a simple contact signal for water applications with low pressure loss.

The family covers DN 15...80 and H2O switching ranges from 8.5 to 248 l/min, with recommended Qmax values up to 600 l/min. It is designed for PN 25 bar pressure resistance, medium temperatures from -20 to +110 °C and ambient temperatures from -20 to +70 °C.

Commissioning remains practical on site. The switching point can be adjusted with a slotted screw beneath the slider, while the standard DIN 43650-A / ISO 4400 connector supports straightforward electrical integration. Brass and stainless steel executions are listed, with options for M12x1 connection, signal lamp, protective bellows and special ranges for oil or gas.

Features

Process connection

The V version uses solder or weld stubs. Further connection types are available on request.

Electrical connection

The standard connector is DIN 43650-A / ISO 4400. A 4-pin M12x1 round connector is listed as an option.

Switching adjustment

The switching point is set with a slotted adjustment screw below the slider. Clockwise rotation lowers the switching point, counter-clockwise raises it.

Wetted materials

Brass and stainless steel executions are listed. Wetted materials include NBR for brass versions and FKM for stainless steel versions.

Installation position

Standard mounting uses horizontal flow. Other mounting positions are possible, with the position affecting the switching point or switching range.

Media handling

Water is specified as the standard medium. Oils, gases and aggressive media are available on request with application data.
