Flow switch for water flow monitoring, DN 10...50 threaded connection

UR3K-G

Flow switch for water flow monitoring with DN 10...50 female threads, 3.5 - 69 l/min H2O switching ranges and reed switch output. Compact paddle design with low pressure loss and ingress protection (IP65).

Introduction

Flow monitoring in compact pipework often needs a simple switching point, not a complex measuring system. This family uses a spring-supported paddle with magnetic actuation of a normally open reed switch, giving operators a direct flow signal for water applications with low pressure loss.

The DN 10 to DN 50 versions cover switching ranges from 3.5 - 5.0 to 54.0 - 69.0 l/min H2O, with recommended Qmax values up to 150 l/min. The switching point can be adjusted through the front slider, making it easier to match the device to the required operating point during commissioning.

Designed for industrial pipework, the flow switch handles PN 25, media temperatures from -20...+110 °C and ambient temperatures from -20...+70 °C. Female G threaded connections, DIN 43650-A / ISO 4400 plug connection and ingress protection (IP65) support practical installation.

Features

Paddle switching principle

The device works with a spring-supported paddle and magnetic actuation of a reed switch.

Threaded process connection

The family uses female G threaded connections from G 3/8 to G 2, assigned to nominal sizes from DN 10 to DN 50.

Electrical ratings

The reed switch is specified for max. 230 V AC, max. 1 A and max. 50 VA with ohmic loads. Capacitive, inductive and lamp loads require protective circuitry.

Material versions

Wetted parts are available in nickel-plated brass or stainless steel versions, with sealing and magnet materials defined by variant.

Installation guidance

The source specifies straight calming sections of 5 x DN in inlet and outlet. Filters are recommended for dirty media, with magnetic filters for ferritic particles.

Media and options

Standard data applies to water. Oil, gas and aggressive media are available on request, as are special ranges and connector options.
