Low pressure monitoring in filters, clean rooms and gas flow systems needs a converter that adapts to the task instead of forcing fixed settings. Within the device-dependent full-scale range, UNICON-P allows the output and display to be adjusted directly via the front keypad, including unidirectional or bidirectional pressure ranges.
The device supports relative, absolute and differential pressure measurement for dry, non aggressive gases. In combination with orifice plates, impact pressure measurement or venturi nozzles, it can also be used for flow rate measurement. For applications with condensate-forming media, dedicated condensate-stability versions are available for relative pressure.
Integration into control systems is straightforward. The standard output is 4..20 mA in 2-wire connection, with an option for an additional 0..10 V output in 3-wire operation. A 2-line LCD dot-matrix display, IP65 field case and selectable process ports support clear operation and practical installation on site.
The pressure range is adjustable within the device-dependent full-scale range, including unidirectional and bidirectional settings.
Standard versions cover relative, absolute, differential pressure and ratio or linear measurement, depending on the selected configuration.
Wet media versions are available for relative pressure and use one process port with 4 or 6 mm Schott glands.
A 2-line, 16-character LCD dot-matrix display is used together with the front keypad for parameter setting and indication.
The device provides a 4..20 mA current output and can include a 0..10 V voltage output and transistor alarm output.
The field case uses fiber-glass reinforced polyamide with polyester front foil and provides IP65 protection for the housing.
