Reliable flow monitoring in larger pipe diameters starts with a clear switching point. This paddle-type flow switch monitors rising or falling flow in DN 65, DN 80 and DN 100 pipes and actuates a microswitch when the defined value is reached. It is suited for water, mineral oil, silicone oil and ester oil, with switching values adjusted at the factory for the specified pipe size.
The robust design supports demanding process conditions without adding unnecessary complexity. A metal bellows-supported paddle, R1" male process connection and PN 16 pressure resistance give the device a solid mechanical basis, while media temperatures from -40...+140 °C extend its use across many liquid applications, excluding hot steam.
For integration into control circuits, the family offers single or double changeover contacts with gold-contact microswitches. Ingress protection (IP) IP65/IP67 is achieved when using an approved connection cable, supporting installation in industrial environments where dependable switching matters.
The device uses a metal bellows-supported paddle to actuate a microswitch on rising or falling flow.
Switching points are adjusted at the factory in the defined nominal pipe size. Standard values are stated for H2O; deviating values are available on request.
The recommended installation uses standard pipe wall thicknesses according to DIN 2448 and a straight inlet and outlet run of 10 x DN.
The standard electrical connection uses an M16x1.5 cable gland for cable diameters from 7...11 mm. DIN 43650-A connector, Harting connector and M20x1.5 cable gland options are listed.
Media-wetted parts are available in brass and stainless steel versions. The switching housing is made of die-cast aluminum.
Standard mounting is for horizontal flow. Other positions are possible, but the mounting position influences the switching point or switching range.
