Fast temperature checks in liquids need a slim immersion probe that reacts without delay and fits the measuring point. The TP656 family uses Type K thermocouples for immersion measurement with compatible instruments, with versions for maximum temperatures of 200 °C or 1000 °C.
The 1 s response time supports efficient work during temperature changes and is referenced in water at 100 °C. Class 1 thermocouple construction and tolerance according to IEC 60584-2 give users a defined basis for dependable readings.
The family includes a compact 70 mm stem with 1 mm diameter, plus longer 500 mm and 1000 mm versions with 2 mm diameter. All versions use a 3 m cable, giving practical reach between the measuring point and the instrument.
The probes use Type K thermocouples with Chromel (Ni-Cr) and Alumel (Ni-Al) conductors.
The probe family is designed for immersion temperature measurement with compatible thermocouple instruments.
The T0.63 response time describes the sensor reaction to a temperature change, reaching 63% of the total signal variation in water at 100 °C.
TP656 measures up to 200 °C, while TP656/1 and TP656/2 measure up to 1000 °C.
TP656 has a 70 mm stem length and 1 mm diameter. TP656/1 has 500 mm length and 2 mm diameter. TP656/2 has 1000 mm length and 2 mm diameter.
All versions have a 3 m cable for connection between the measuring point and instrument.
