Type K thermocouple immersion probe for compact 1200 °C measurement

TP652

Type K thermocouple immersion probe for temperature measurement up to 1200 °C, with Class 1 thermocouple, IEC 60584-2 tolerance, 6 s response time, Ø 6 mm stem and 700 mm stem length.

Introduction

Compact high-temperature immersion measurement calls for a probe that is easy to handle while still covering demanding temperature levels. TP652 measures up to 1200 °C and uses a Type K thermocouple for work with compatible thermocouple measuring instruments.

Class 1 construction and tolerance according to IEC 60584-2 provide a defined measurement basis, helping users assess readings with confidence. The 6 s response time supports practical checks where the sensor needs to follow temperature changes without long waiting times.

With a 700 mm stem length and Ø 6 mm probe stem, TP652 is the shorter version of the immersion probe family. It fits applications where the 1200 mm TP651 is not required and a more compact probe length is preferred.

High heat range
Measures immersion temperatures up to 1200 °C.
Defined accuracy
Class 1 Type K thermocouple with tolerance according to IEC 60584-2.
Compact stem
700 mm stem length supports easier handling in immersion checks.
Slim probe stem
Ø 6 mm stem suits contact with the measured medium.

Features

Type K thermocouple

The probe uses a Type K thermocouple with Chromel (Ni-Cr) and Alumel (Ni-Al) conductors.

Immersion probe design

The probe stem is designed for immersion temperature measurement with compatible thermocouple instruments.

Response time reference

The T0.63 response time describes the sensor reaction to a temperature change, reaching 63% of the total signal variation in water at 100 °C.

Probe dimensions

TP652 has a Ø 6 mm probe stem and a stem length of 700 mm.
