When you need a clear picture of near-ground conditions, measuring air and soil temperature together helps you interpret what is happening at the surface. TP32MTT.03.B is a double probe with two 4-wire Pt100 sensors, designed for simultaneous measurement of air temperature and soil temperature at ±5 cm from the soil.
The protective screen helps reduce measurement influence from solar radiation. It is made of UV-resistant ASA technopolymer with low thermal conductivity and high reflection, and the sensor position inside the screen is designed to prevent direct radiation exposure, supporting representative air temperature values close to the ground.
Installation is straightforward for field monitoring. TP32MTT.03.B is fixed using a metal spike driven into the ground, with the connection cable kept above soil level. The probe operates from -40...+85 °C, provides IP67 protection and is supplied with a 2, 5 or 10 m cable terminated with open wires, using an 8-pole cable for the dual-sensor design.
