Soil temperature near the surface is a key indicator for environmental monitoring, agriculture and microclimate studies. TP32MTT.03.A is a single-probe solution designed to measure soil temperature at a depth of 5 cm using a 4-wire Pt100 sensor.
The integrated protective screen supports reliable readings by limiting measurement influence from solar radiation. Made from UV-resistant ASA technopolymer with low thermal conductivity and high reflection, the screen design places the sensor in a position intended to prevent it from being directly exposed to radiation.
For field installation, TP32MTT.03.A is fixed using a metal spike driven into the ground, with guidance to keep the connection cable above soil level. The probe operates from -40...+85 °C, has IP67 protection and is supplied with a 2, 5 or 10 m cable terminated with open wires, using a 4-pole cable for the single-sensor configuration.
