Safety-related temperature monitoring in water, oil and air needs a sensor that reacts quickly and withstands demanding process conditions. This thermocouple sensor supports Safety Temperature Limiter STL50 applications according to DIN EN 14597, with typical T63.2 % response times of 20 s in water, 30 s in oil and 85 s in air.
The design uses 2 x isolated, replaceable thermocouples in type J, K or N. Type J covers -100..+600 °C, while type K and type N cover -100..+800 °C, giving users flexibility for different temperature tasks within one sensor family.
A reduced 9/6 mm protection tube made from Inconel 600 W-No. 2.4816, 40 bar process pressure rating and ingress protection (IP) IP65 aluminum BSZ terminal head support robust installation. Neck pipe lengths of 50 mm or 140 mm and installation lengths from 100 to 600 mm are available, with custom lengths on request.
The sensor family is available with double thermocouple type J, type K or type N.
Type J covers -100..+600 °C. Type K and type N cover -100..+800 °C.
The protection tube has a 9 mm to 6 mm reduced design and is made from Inconel 600 W-No. 2.4816.
The sensor uses a G 1/2 B process connection.
Standard neck pipe lengths are 50 mm and 140 mm, with custom neck pipe length on request.
Available installation lengths are 100 mm, 160 mm, 250 mm, 400 mm and 600 mm, with custom length on request.
The aluminum BSZ terminal head includes a snap-lid and ingress protection (IP) IP65.
