Temperature panelmeter

T9648

Temperature panelmeter for RTD and thermocouple monitoring, with Pt100, Pt1000, Type J, K or S inputs, \pm9999(0) digit display, optional alarm outputs and isolated 0/4...20 mA or 0/2...10 V output.

Introduction

Temperature values are easier to manage when operators can see them directly at the control panel and use the same device for signaling or analog transmission. This panelmeter measures Pt100, Pt1000 and thermocouple inputs, then displays the process value on a red 14.2 mm LED.

The configurable measuring range lets you focus the display and analog output on the relevant temperature span. It supports Pt100 from -100...600 °C, Pt1000 from -50...200 °C, Fe-CuNi (J) from 0...800 °C, NiCr-Ni (K) from 0...1200 °C and Pt10Rh-Pt (S) from 0...1600 °C. A digital filter can average the last 16 measured values for steadier display behavior.

The panelmeter can be configured with up to 4 alarm outputs using SPDT relays or transistors. An isolated analog output is also available, with automatic changeover between 0/4...20 mA and 0/2...10 V depending on burden. Front ingress protection IP65 supports installation in industrial panels.

Features

Front keypad programming

Parameters are set using the front-side membrane keypad, with working and configuration levels.

Configurable range

Start and end values define the indicating range and the range used by the analog output.

Digital filter

When activated, the digital filter continuously averages the last 16 measured values.

Alarm output settings

Switching function, setpoint, hysteresis, switch-on delay and switch-off delay can be configured for alarm outputs.

Second measuring input

Versions with a second Pt100 or Pt1000 input can display difference, average, larger or smaller value.

Min/max value hold

The optional min/max value hold function stores peak readings for display in the working level.
