Conductive liquids in tanks and pipelines often need several switching points from one measuring point. STK supports level detection and level control with suitable evaluation units, covering overflow protection, dry-run protection, moisture detection and two-point pump control.
Depending on the selected version, up to 5 switching points can be realized. The ground connection is made in the probe head and transferred through the thread to the conductive vessel, while shorten-able probe rods simplify switching point adjustment during installation.
The stainless steel process connection supports pressure stability up to 20 bar, and ETFE or E-CTFE coating allows process temperatures up to +150°C. Material options such as Hastelloy C22, titanium, PTFE and coated probe insulation support use with corrosive or aggressive liquids. An optional monitoring module can detect line breaks with a suitable evaluation unit.
The probe is used with suitable evaluation units for level detection and level control in conductive liquids.
Versions with 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 electrode rods are available, with the maximum rod count depending on the selected process connection.
Threaded process connections include G½", G1", G1¼", G1½" and G2". A DN50 flange version according to EN 1092-1 is also available.
The ground connection is made in the probe head and transferred through the thread to the conductive container.
An optional monitoring module can be installed in the probe head for permanent circuit monitoring with a suitable evaluation unit.
Probe rods are available in CrNi steel, Hastelloy C22, titanium or stainless steel with 20 mm tantalum tips.
Available insulation materials include PA, ETFE and E-CTFE, with 4 mm and 8 mm coated rod options listed in the order code.
